Luna Ibáñez Tango formed in 2012 in order to interpret tangos, milongas and waltzes with a current look at the repertoire of the golden decades of tango visiting key authors (Aníbal Troilo, Enrique Cadícamo, Homero Manzi, Luis Rubinstein, Joaquín Mora) as well as contemporary (Nestor Basurto – Alejandro Szwarcman). In addition to the debut album „Luna-Ibáñez Tango“ sound versioned composers of other genres like Luis Alberto Spinetta and Ryuichi Sakamoto.

Wednesday, 20th of February 2019 from 4-6 pm LUNA IBANEZ will be at the Kulturcafé Denkbar to teach you about Tango-Guitar and Argentine Music. The Workshop is for free! Donations are welcome.
The duo brings a look camarística with original arrangements trying to combine modern and ancient musical resources to achieve a fresh sound without intention of historicism but trying to preserve the spirit of the genre itself.
Throughout their career they have been presented in concert halls and in milongas of Buenos Aires adapting their repertoire both be danced to be heard.
